James is one of the Welsh Liberal Democrat Councillors for Sketty in Swansea. First elected in May 2022, James is one of 5 Councillors representing Sketty. James works across the communities of Tycoch, Sketty Cross, Sketty Park, and is available to meet residents on request. James volunteers in the local foodbank and is actively involved in friends of Singleton Park.
