Save Swansea's High Streets

The Swansea Liberal Democrats team has a clear plan to support local shops, protect jobs, and help secure the progress made in revitalising our high streets.

Small businesses make our city and communities special, and they need our help in facing the cost-of-living crisis. That's why the Welsh Lib Dems are fighting to:

  • Create a £400m town centres fund to be invested in making our streets cleaner, safer, and greener.
  • Fix unfair business rates to keep our independent businesses competitive with online retailers.
  • Cut VAT for pubs, cafes and restaurants to ease pressure on hospitality and reduce prices for customers.

Save Swansea's High Streets

I'm supporting the Sam Bennett and Welsh Liberal Democrats campaign to Save Swansea's High Streets by fixing unfair business rates, cutting VAT for hospitality and creating a £400m Town Centres fund to make our high streets cleaner, greener and safer.
