Nothing matters more to me than our NHS. Through the care my grandfather gets as he lives with dementia, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work that doctors and nurses do. 

I also know how difficult it can be to get medical help when you need it. It seems like everyone I meet has a poor experience to share, whether it’s waiting for hours on the phone for a GP appointment, or for years for a routine operation. It’s clear our health services are at breaking point.
