Clyne Valley Links

We the undersigned have major concerns over the Shared Use Path (SUP) Scheme through Clyne Valley for the following reasons:
1. Lack of evidence of demonstrable need for a SUP on the route proposed;
2. Lack of consultation with all stakeholders on the detailed scheme, against the requirements laid down in the Active Travel Act and Well-being of Future Generations Act;
3. The lack an Environmental Impact Assessment which would have identified potential damage caused the construction of the SUP;
4. Potential damage to artefacts related to the historical heritage of Clyne Valley.
We call upon Swansea’s Cabinet to cease any work on this SUP until all the above points have been satisfactorily addressed.

Update: The petition has been submitted - and rejected twice - by the Labour council but sign below and we'll keep you up to date with further developments.
